in the last weekI recently stayed at Trident, Udaipur and enjoyed a wonderful blend of comfort and elegance. The resort is set on the banks of Lake Pichola amidst beautifully landscaped gardens and has great views of the Aravalli Range. The room was spacious, well furnished with traditional Rajasthani touches, and offered modern amenities like high-speed WiFi and a good coffee/tea setup.  Dining was also a highlight: we had a great meal at the restaurant “Aravalli”, and the food quality, variety and service were all very good.  The overall atmosphere was calm and relaxing — perfect for winding down after exploring Udaipur.A couple of things to note: as a five-star property the pricing is premium, so it’s best suited when you’re ready to treat yourself. Also, if you’re hoping for a very central old-city walkable stay, this is a little away and you will likely need a cab to go around. (Some guests on forums noted it is not in the heart of the old town). Overall, I’d definitely recommend Trident, Udaipur if you’re looking for a high-quality, luxurious stay with good service, scenic surroundings and comfort.
