Hi there lovelies! We’ve enjoyed Jiten and Ekta’s mehendi and sangeet that was planned to perfection by our very own Ruchita Parelkar of My Wedding Planning, and now it’s time to head to their wedding. The couple got married in a morning function held at the Grand Ballroom of Meluha the Fern Hotel in Powai, Mumbai. This was followed by a reception dinner at The Leela later in the evening. Jiten and Ekta wanted a traditional Indian wedding ceremony that was focused on Sindhi rituals and traditions. They chose a Royal Indian theme for their wedding ceremony. Themed Weddings are most popular among young couples today, as couples like to go the extra mile to make their wedding stand out while still reflecting their personalities. We love theme weddings as we feel this is one way you and your guests will truly remember your special day and stunning venue forever. The Reception that followed in the evening was an International Theme with flowers and candles and the couple dancing the night away!
Jiten and Ekta’s gorgeous ‘Royal Indian Themed’ wedding is the epitome of luxury and elegance. The ballroom in Meluha Powai where they held their wedding was dressed up lavishly. We love the soft look that the tall centerpieces in roses and crystals exude. Ruchita Parelkar, the head planner of MWP made sure that their day ran flawlessly. They chose an elegant wedding colour palette of pink and white and hired the awesome wedding decorators 7 Vows to create their incredibly stunning mandap and all other floral arrangements.
All the images are captured by the talented team of Seventy-by-Two Wedding Stories. We have worked with Seventy-by-Two Wedding Stories on many wedding projects in the past and highly recommend their work. If you’re looking for a candid wedding photographer who charges reasonably for world class stuff, Seventy-by-Two is exactly that!
Ekta is a beautiful blushing bride born and raised in London. This bride sure is not afraid of bling! She was decked up from head to toe and perfectly complemented the royal wedding theme. She was dressed in a lovely dark pink and blue lehenga by Seasons Mumbai.
The gorgeous mandap with an ‘OM’ carved out of flowers was the highlight of the decor that accented the wedding theme by adding a touch of royal charm to the design. A romantic luminous pink glow settles on the mandap that is full of flowers. Guests were treated to a sumptuous royal Indian buffet, top-notch entertainment and chicly-wrapped wedding favours to take home with them. The overall theme was inspired by traditional Indian weddings, and every last detail helped to make this wedding unforgettable!
Hope you liked this super-sweet wedding! Be back for yet another lovely wedding feature.
